iChart — Terms of Use

By downloading or using iChart Bullseye (“iChart”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Licence

iChart grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which applies in addition to these terms. Where the two conflict on matters of licensing, Apple’s terms prevail.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, resell, or redistribute the app, or use it to build a competing service.

2. What iChart is — and is not

iChart is free. It has no subscription, no paywall, and nothing to buy.

iChart displays a calendar of scheduled economic releases, with impact filters, a market open/closed session readout for US stocks and forex, and reminders — local notifications and Lock Screen countdowns — for the events you choose to flag.

iChart is an information tool. It is not a broker, exchange, financial adviser, or investment service. It displays no market prices, no charts, and no watchlist of any kind, does not execute trades, hold funds, or connect to any brokerage account.

If you used a paid tier or saw prices and charts in an earlier version of this app, they no longer exist. Any watchlists you had were deleted when this version installed — see the Privacy Policy for what that removal covered.

3. Not financial advice

Nothing in iChart is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.

• All content is provided for general information only and does not take account of your objectives, financial situation, or needs.
• The economic calendar shows scheduled release times, forecasts, and previous values as published by third parties. None of this is a signal to act on, and none of it predicts what a release will show.
• You are solely responsible for any decision you make, and for seeking independent professional advice where appropriate.

4. Calendar data and accuracy

Economic calendar events come from a third-party public source, listed in the Privacy Policy. iChart does not own, control, or verify this data.

You accept that:

• Data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable, and the third-party source may change or withdraw access without notice.
• Scheduled release times, forecasts, and previous values are published by a third party and can change or be revised without notice.
• Market open/closed indicators follow regular weekly trading schedules and do not account for public holidays or unscheduled closures, so a market shown as open may in fact be closed.

iChart is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind. No guarantee is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available.

5. Notifications and Live Activities

When you set an alert on an economic calendar event, iChart can send reminders and show a Lock Screen countdown, both generated entirely on your device — see the Privacy Policy for how these work. They depend on the calendar data described in Section 4 and inherit the same accuracy limits: a reminder is only as reliable as the scheduled time it was built from.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use iChart to break the law, to interfere with its operation or the third-party service it relies on, or to scrape, resell, or redistribute the calendar data it displays.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, iChart and its developer are not liable for any losses, lost opportunity, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, from reliance on any data it displays, or from its unavailability.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you retain all statutory rights that cannot be waived by agreement.

8. Third-party services

iChart relies on services operated by others, including Apple and the calendar data provider listed in the Privacy Policy. Their own terms apply to their services, and iChart is not responsible for their acts, omissions, or availability.

9. Termination

You may stop using iChart at any time by deleting it. Your on-device data — alerted events and preferences — is unaffected by these terms and remains until you delete the app.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you may also have the benefit of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you live.
